Just for Clarification's Sake
Books R Love deals with both new and pre-owned books. If you're unsure whether a book is new or pre-owned, just look for the labels at the end of the post.
I will only compare prices of NEW books at Books R Love with that of NEW books in retail bookstores. Rest assured that the prices of pre-owned books are NOT compared with the prices of new books (I personally think this is so misleading for buyers!). The prices at which these pre-owned books were bought may or may not be stated, depending on whether I can recall them :)

Glistening danger
"The Snow Spider, won the Smarties Prize and the Tir na n-Og Award, the latter being an award for the best English-language children's book with an authentic Welsh background." (Source: Wikipedia)
I am not able to provide a commentary or personal note about the book because I have not read it, unfortunately, but the summary will give you a rough idea what it's about!
Summary:
'Time to find out if you are a magician!' said Gwyn's grandmother, as she gave him five strange birthday gifts. What could they mean, the piece of seaweed, the yellow scarf, the tin whistle, the twisted metal brooch and the small broken horse?
Gwyn gives the brooch to the wind and in return is sent Arianwen, the snow spider. The spider weaves a silken web in which sits a girl he knows but cannot place.
This is the beginning of extraordinary battles against evil in worlds sparkling with snow and silver.
Pages are slightly yellowed but still in good condition.
The Snow Spider going for RM6.
